On the sidewalks of Pham Van Dong, Tran Duy Hung (Cau Giay district), Kim Ma (Ba Dinh district), Khuat Duy Tien (Thanh Xuan district)... there are many cracks and dents on the stones.

"I see that the cracked sidewalk of Tran Duy Hung is very unsightly. In addition, cars parked on the street are obstructing pedestrians," said Mr. Le Van Tuan (Cau Giay district).

The degradation also occurred on Trung Kinh Street (Cau Giay District).

The sidewalk of Khuat Duy Tien Street (Thanh Xuan District) is also in serious disrepair, with many sections of pavement bricks and stones broken.

Recently, at the 14th session, Thanh Xuan District People's Council agreed to the investment policy of the Nguyen Xien Street Sidewalk Improvement Project with a total estimated investment of more than 29 billion VND.

The sidewalk renovation must be based on the specific situation and current status of each area in Hanoi. Talking to Tien Phong newspaper, a representative of the Department of Construction said that the Department will regularly conduct periodic and surprise inspections of sidewalk renovation and beautification activities in districts and towns in the area.
