At the moment of New Year's Eve welcoming the Year of the Dragon 2024, many doctors, midwives and nurses of Tu Du Hospital were still on duty. Everyone was anxiously waiting for the first cry of the babies born at the beginning of the new year.

Counting down to the year of the Dragon 2024, in the urgent and anxious atmosphere of many couples, the team of doctors, midwives and nurses working at Tu Du Hospital are busy preparing all the necessary equipment to serve the first births of the new year.

Doctor Tran Ngoc Hai, Director of Tu Du Hospital, said that on New Year's Eve this year, there were 384 medical staff on duty at the hospital, including 52 doctors and 243 nurses. During holidays, the hospital always assigns a full schedule of teams to serve the people.

Midwife Ly Thanh Van (47 years old) has worked at Tu Du Hospital for more than 23 years. For her, the moment of transition between the old year and the new year, welcoming the first citizens, is always a happiness that is hard to describe in words.
