Prioritize budget for health sector

One of the notable contents in the action program is to promote health financial reform and effectively and sustainably develop health insurance policies.

That is to prioritize the arrangement and ensure the annual increase in state budget expenditure for the health sector, ensuring the state budget for regular expenditure and investment expenditure for primary health care and preventive health care.

From 2026, organize coordination between periodic health check-ups, free screening, health check-ups for students, occupational disease check-ups, health check-ups for workers according to regulations and health insurance examination and treatment to provide free medical examinations, complete the creation of electronic health books for all people.

Develop and deploy a project to gradually implement a policy of exempting hospital fees, first of all for social policy beneficiaries, the disadvantaged, low-income people, and a number of other priority beneficiaries within the scope of health insurance benefits according to the roadmap.
