Female Chairwoman of Trang Bom District People's Committee disciplined after 680 illegally built villas

The decision to warn Ms. Chau was issued today (May 22), after the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee issued a Party warning due to Ms. Chau's involvement in violations in the construction of 680 illegally built villas in Tan Thinh residential area, Trang Bom district.

Ms. Vu Thi Minh Chau was disciplined for violations related to the illegal construction of 680 houses that occurred in the locality under her management.

In the Inspectorate's conclusion, it was stated that Ms. Vu Thi Minh Chau was irresponsible in detecting and preventing violations of land laws such as inventory, compensation pricing, and incorrect land use...

In addition, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province also requested the People's Committee of Trang Bom district to issue a document criticizing Mr. Nguyen Canh Tien, former Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Trang Bom district.

Regarding the above violations, Dong Nai Provincial Police also initiated a criminal case on the act of abusing position and power while performing official duties, and temporarily detained many of Ms. Chau's subordinates for investigation.

Currently, Ms. Chau has submitted a resignation letter due to health reasons. However, this letter is being considered by the authorities so Ms. Chau is still working as usual.
