At 5:50 a.m., Ms. Phuong Muoi May (26 years old, living in Hanoi ) hurriedly woke up, fed her 1-year-old daughter breakfast, and took her to daycare.

"Every day, I work from 7am to 11pm before coming home, with almost no time to rest or take care of myself. It's hard work, but to raise my children, I have to overcome it," Ms. May smiled.

In the clips, the little girl smiles brightly when hearing her mother call, sometimes, she falls asleep in the car, making the online community feel sorry.

Ms. May confided that in 2021, for many reasons, she divorced her husband when she was about 5 months pregnant. Growing up in a family in the mountainous area of Ha Giang , with not very good circumstances, Ms. May decided to "carry" her pregnant belly to Hanoi to make a living and earn money to take care of her child.

Every day, she can earn 400,000-500,000 VND from her job as a shipper.

When she was about to give birth, Ms. May still tried to deliver goods to earn more money. After returning to her hometown to give birth for more than 3 months, this woman brought her newborn baby with her and traveled to the city to continue working.

Mother and child huddle in a rented room in Hanoi. Every day, Ms. May looks at her child and tells herself to try harder.

In the morning, Ms. May would drop her child off at daycare. At 4 p.m., she would pick her child up, go home, feed him until 6 p.m., and then take him along on her delivery trips. When her child couldn’t sit up yet, Ms. May would carry him on her chest.

"Now that my baby is 1 year old, I bought him a front seat. Sometimes I feel sorry for him when he falls asleep, but I don't feel safe leaving him at home," Ms. May shared.

The young mother confided that sometimes while driving on the road, tears fell without her realizing it. "I feel so sorry for myself, because I have to do everything alone. But after crying, that's it. Seeing my child smile, I suddenly feel motivated, wondering why I cried," she choked.

It seems that Ms. May's daughter knows how hard her mother works, so throughout the journey she has never cried. Seeing Ms. May and her daughter working together to make a living, many customers expressed admiration and sympathy, and occasionally gave the girl cakes, candies, and money.

"My child's journey to adulthood is still long, I know I have to try every day to make my child's future better. I plan to save enough money and go to vocational school to have a stable job, so that I can have more time for my child in the future," Ms. May said.
