Western female student wins many impressive awards

Quynh Anh shared: "Like many of my peers, before entering university was a difficult time for me because I had to struggle with choosing the right major. However, when I found my passion for scientific research and chose the right major, I immediately made a clear study plan to study hard, participate in research and constantly practice."

In addition to completing her studies well in class, Quynh Anh also participates in scientific research and has achieved many impressive achievements. Recently, Quynh Anh and her group of friends presented a research topic on smart agriculture model and the app Tomato Healthy Check which was accepted and published by the international scientific journal Q1 IEEE Access.

In addition, the team has developed the Tomatoes Healthy Check system, which is a unique and practical solution in the field of smart agriculture. This system is designed to classify the physiological condition of tomatoes with an innovative and effective approach. What is special about this system is that it can classify not only based on images, but also has the ability to process videos, even in real time via webcam.

Quynh Anh said that to achieve the above achievements, she has made efforts to study, participate in research and practice right from when entering the university environment. "Owning the above scientific research works is a plus point for me to be able to win the Vietnam Female Science and Technology Student Award in 2023. This is a great honor and also a motivation for me to continue pursuing my passion for science and technology," Quynh Anh shared.

Planning to develop the topic in the future, Quynh Anh said that the group has been actively considering a longer-term direction for their research, not only limited to the ResFes competition but also expanding to contribute to the development of the smart agriculture sector and promoting sustainable agricultural production.

Talking about her personal plans, this female student hopes to work at the Information Technology Department, FPT University (Can Tho) after graduation. At the same time, she will continue to study, improve her knowledge, skills, research and apply them in practice.
