Accordingly, the Central Committee agreed to let Mr. Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission - step down from the position of Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission to focus on performing the duties of Standing member of the Secretariat.

Electing 3 additional members of the 13th Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission, including: Nguyen Duy Ngoc - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office; Nguyen Hong Linh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee; Doan Anh Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province.

Agreed to let Mr. Duong Van An - Member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee, former Secretary of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee - cease to hold the position of member of the 13th Party Central Committee.

The Party Central Committee worked in groups and discussed the following contents: (1) Report summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee on a number of issues on continuing to innovate and streamline the political system's apparatus to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently. (2) Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the Politburo and Secretariat in 2024. (3) Supplementary project on socio-economic development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more.
