Quang Tri PC strives to complete its tasks in 2024

In 2023, the production and business activities of Quang Tri Power Company (PC Quang Tri) will face many difficulties due to the impact of many unfavorable factors. Among them, the fluctuation in raw material prices has led to high input material costs; the procurement and supply of materials and equipment is slow and does not meet the required progress.

However, under the direction of the Central Power Corporation, the support of the provincial leaders and agencies, departments and branches in the province, and the efforts of all cadres and workers, PC Quang Tri has overcome difficulties, ensured electricity supply for the socio-economic development of the province, completed assigned tasks, achieved and exceeded many planned targets.

Accordingly, the Quang Tri province's power system has been safely operated over the past year, providing stable quality electricity, serving socio-economic development, national defense and security, and people's daily needs. Commercial electricity output reached 830 million kWh, up 6.93% compared to 2022. The maximum capacity of the Quang Tri province power grid in 2023 is 148.6 MW, up 6.7% compared to 2022. The highest daily output reached 2,905,775 kWh, the average daily output was 2,408,751.23 kWh. Actual power loss was 2.78%, down 0.05% compared to the plan.

In 2023, PC Quang Tri has made efforts to implement many solutions to improve the quality of customer service, shortening the time to access electricity to 1.89 days/project, a reduction of 5.11 days compared to the plan; completing the change of meter reading date to the end of the month for 100% of customers in the area; the rate of customers paying electricity bills without cash reached 97.61%, an increase of 24.88% compared to 2022. The grid failure rate indexes, MAIFI, SAIDI, SAIFI all decreased compared to 2022 and achieved the assigned plan.

The highlight of the past year was the movement of innovation, scientific and technical creativity, and digital transformation in the company, which achieved many important achievements. Last year, the unit had 5 solutions recognized by EVNCPC as corporation-level initiatives, and 1 initiative recognized by EVN as group-level initiatives. At the 10th Quang Tri Province Technical Innovation Contest (2022-2023), Quang Tri PC won 1 Second Prize (no First Prize) and 2 Consolation Prizes.

The emulation movement in production and business is maintained; the ideology, employment and life of workers are stable. The company focuses on implementing synchronous solutions on occupational safety and hygiene; absolutely ensures safety in production, ensures traffic safety in the whole company, helps workers have a safe working environment; creates a green, clean and beautiful space in the workplace...

In addition to its achievements in production and business activities, in recent years, the company has continued to carry out many social security activities, demonstrating its responsibility to the community with many practical and effective activities. In 2023, the company built and handed over 5 charity houses with a total amount of 300 million VND.

In addition, the unit has spent nearly 800 million VND on social security activities in the area such as supporting the construction of public housing for teachers in disadvantaged areas, supporting the "For the Poor" fund of Quang Tri province, the "Heart of the Homeland - Support to School" program, supporting the care of martyrs' cemeteries at the commune level, visiting and giving gifts to families of war invalids and martyrs, implementing the "Lighting Up the Countryside" project, and many other meaningful social security activities.

Therefore, the unit has fully grasped the key tasks and proposed a specific action plan to organize and carry out the tasks well.

With the theme “Strong discipline, strict discipline, ensuring labor safety and traffic safety”, PC Quang Tri continues to strengthen the trust of society and people, strive to work with all their might, and be responsible for the common development of the industry. Ensure safety, prevent labor accidents; ensure progress and quality of investment, restore and improve grid capacity.

Promote grassroots democracy, enhance dialogue, and listen responsibly to create consensus, solidarity, and arouse creativity and pride in each cadre and employee of the unit to strive to complete assigned tasks well. Accordingly, all cadres and employees in the company unite, unanimously uphold the spirit of responsibility and discipline in work to contribute to building a sustainable development unit in the coming time.
