Strive to restore power supply to the whole province by September 20

According to news from the Northern Power Corporation, the unit is currently concentrating all resources with high determination, striving to restore power supply to 100% of Quang Ninh residents by September 20.

As of 3:00 p.m. on September 16, the entire province had 51/59 110kV lines restored to operation, 30/30 110kV transformer stations energized, and 161/180 medium voltage lines restored to operation. Quang Ninh Electricity Company has restored power to over 366,000 customers (accounting for 80%) and currently about 95,000 customers are still without power.

In some localities, the power supply rate has reached over 90% such as: Mong Cai city (100%), Hai Ha district (99.1%), Binh Lieu district (98%); Ba Che district (92%)... The remaining localities are: Ha Long, Uong Bi, Van Don, Cam Pha, Tien Yen, Dong Trieu, the power supply rate has reached from 71-89%, only Quang Yen town has the lowest rate in the whole province with over 35% of customers having power supply.

Previously, storm No. 3 paralyzed the entire power grid of Quang Ninh province with 54 medium-voltage transformer stations damaged, over 1,000 medium-voltage poles broken and fallen, nearly 2,700 low-voltage poles damaged, mainly concentrated in the following localities: Ha Long, Cam Pha, Quang Yen, Uong Bi, Dong Trieu.
