Launching a songwriting contest about women

There is no limit on quantity, newly composed songs that have not been popularized by authors with themes praising Ha Tinh women can all participate in the contest organized by the Provincial Women's Union.

On the afternoon of January 19, the Ha Tinh Women's Union coordinated with the Provincial Literature and Arts Association to launch a songwriting contest about women, Vietnamese mothers and Ha Tinh women.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

The songwriting contest about Vietnamese women, mothers and women of Ha Tinh is open to all professional and non-professional musicians who are Vietnamese living and working at home and abroad.

The contest does not limit the age or profession of the authors participating. Young authors, students of music and art schools, people working in the art field; cadres, women's union members, artists living and working in Ha Tinh are encouraged to compose. Works by the same author can only use one stage name.

The entries are newly composed songs (no limit on the number of songs per author) that have not been popularized or participated in any other contest. New songs in the young, modern music genre, closely following the theme of praising the beauty, moral qualities, traditional values... of Ha Tinh women in particular and Vietnamese women and mothers in general are encouraged.

The Organizing Committee will not consider awards for works that copy or imitate the melodies and lyrics of domestic and foreign authors. Authors must be responsible for the copyright of their works participating in the contest according to the provisions of law.

Time for receiving works from the launch date (January 19, 2024) to before 5:00 p.m. on July 31, 2024; expected to be judged and summarized on October 20, 2024.

The entry documents for each work include: 1 musical notation, 1 song recording in Mp3 file format, registration form according to the form, authorization letter of the group of authors if the work has 2 or more authors and 1 envelope (with stamp, clearly stating the author's full name, address, email, phone number for the Organizing Committee to contact when necessary).
