On May 16, the Department of Culture and Sports coordinated with the Ninh Binh Literature and Arts Association to launch the Ninh Binh Art Photography Contest and Exhibition 2023. The contest was organized under the auspices of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
With the desire to continue to introduce and spread the historical and cultural values, natural landscapes and the beauty of Ninh Binh people to domestic and international friends, the Department of Culture and Sports presided over and coordinated with the Ninh Binh Literature and Arts Association to organize the Artistic Photography Contest about Ninh Binh with the theme "Land and People of Ninh Binh".
Ninh Binh province is a land of beautiful mountains and rivers, converging many cultural and historical values, human resources... This is a valuable source of material that helps photographers freely explore and create, to create beautiful photos with high artistic and aesthetic value.
The content of the photos focuses on main themes and contents such as: the beauty of Ninh Binh people in working and building the homeland; the beauty of natural landscapes and historical, cultural, architectural and artistic relics; unique traditional folk festivals, folk performances and performances; the beauty of craft villages and traditional handicrafts; the beauty in the spiritual and cultural life of the people and the activities of the people and communities in preserving, maintaining and promoting the value of cultural heritages; cultural, artistic, sports and tourism activities.
The contestants are photographers and photography enthusiasts inside and outside Ninh Binh province. The contest is expected to take place within 6 months from the launching ceremony on May 16.
The winning photos will be selected by the Organizing Committee to be exhibited or printed into books to honor and promote the image, land and people of Ninh Binh to domestic and foreign tourists and the public, contributing to promoting the culture and economic and tourism activities of the province.
