Issued alarm I on Ma River at Len Hydrological Station

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - At 3:00 a.m. on August 26, the Thanh Hoa Province Civil Defense Command issued Official Dispatch No. 21, issuing a first alert on the Ma River at the Len Hydrological Station, requesting the Chairmen of the People's Committees of the communes of Tong Son, Ha Trung, Linh Toai, Nga Thang, and Nga Son to immediately deploy a number of tasks.

According to flood warning bulletin on Len River No. DBLU-35/02h30/THOA dated August 26, 2025 of Thanh Hoa Province Hydrometeorological Station, at 1:00 a.m. on August 26, the water level on Len River at Len Hydrological Station was +3.33m (0.67m below BĐI).

Warning: In the next 12 hours, the flood water level downstream of Len River will continue to rise; the water level downstream of Len River at Len Hydrological Station is likely to reach Alarm Level I (+4.0m) at around 6-8am on August 26.

The Provincial Civil Defense Command issued a first alert on the Ma River at the Len Hydrological Station, requesting the Chairmen of the People's Committees of the above communes:

Immediately deploy dike patrols and dike protection according to alarm levels.

Organize inspection, review and be ready to deploy plans to ensure the safety of dike works; especially key dike points and culverts across the dike in the area.

Proactively implement evacuation plans for people living in riverbank areas.

Organize a serious 24/7 duty, closely monitor the development of rain and floods to be ready to handle situations from the first hour; promptly inform and report to the Provincial Office of Natural Disaster Prevention and Control Command and the Standing Office of the Provincial Civil Defense Command.
