Vice President of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh met with Vice President of the National Assembly of Armenia Hakob Arshakyan

NDO - On the afternoon of October 19, in the capital city of Vientiane, Laos, on the sidelines of the 45th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Southeast Asian Nations, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh had a meeting with Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the Republic of Armenia Hakob Arshakyan.

At the meeting, Vice President of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh expressed her pleasure to meet Vice President of the National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan on the occasion of attending the AIPA-45 General Assembly.

Vice President of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh respectfully conveyed the regards and best wishes of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and other leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam to Vice President of the National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan.

Affirming that Vietnam always attaches importance to the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Armenia, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh said that Vietnam always remembers the wholehearted support and assistance that the Armenian people have given Vietnam in the struggle for national liberation and reunification, as well as in the years of national reconstruction that followed.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan expressed his joy and respectfully thanked Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh for taking the time to meet him.

Emphasizing that since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1992, the cooperative relationship between the two sides has continuously developed both bilaterally and multilaterally, Vice President Hakob Arshakyan affirmed that Armenia always attaches importance to and wishes to continue expanding and deepening it.
