Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen directed to speed up the progress of site clearance and disbursement of public investment capital for key projects.

On the afternoon of October 14, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen chaired a working session with relevant units and localities to review progress, remove difficulties in site clearance (GPMB) and speed up disbursement of public investment capital for key works and projects in the province under the responsibility of Working Group No. 03.

At the meeting, the Working Group heard reports on the implementation of key projects: Belt Road outside Bac Lieu city (phase 1); Belt Road inside Bac Lieu city (phase 1); construction of Hoa Binh 2 bridge + connecting road to Giong Nhan - Go Cat road; DT.797 road from Phuoc Long district (old) to Hong Dan district (old); upgrading Ninh Quoi - Ngan Dua road.

Up to now, 03 projects in Bac Lieu ward, Hiep Thanh ward, Vinh Trach ward, Hoa Binh commune and Long Dien commune have basically completed the steps of posting, collecting people's opinions, organizing dialogues and submitting for approval of compensation plans.

Localities are urgently preparing to approve, pay and hand over the site in accordance with the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee. Particularly, 02 road construction projects in the communes of Hong Dan, Vinh Loc, Ninh Thanh Loi are still stuck in land acquisition and clearance, because some households have not agreed with the compensation plan.

Concluding the working session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen requested the professional team to continue reviewing and synthesizing the remaining cases, and advising on specific solutions so that Working Group No. 3 can promptly resolve difficulties. Localities need to strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to agree on the land acquisition policy, ensuring the progress of project implementation, especially the routes passing through Hong Dan, Vinh Loc, and Ninh Thanh Loi communes, to serve the travel and trade needs of the people.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen requested investors and relevant units to speed up the disbursement of public investment capital, soon complete key works and projects, contributing to promoting the socio -economic development of the province in 2025.
