The TH project is implemented in Hoa Thuan village, Van Hoa commune, and was approved by the Provincial People's Committee for investment policy according to Decision No. 2111/QD-UBND dated October 30, 2017. The scale of the project is 5,000 cows, of which 2,400 are dairy cows, the rest are heifers to replace the herd. After 5 adjustments to the investment policy, by September 2020, the TH Dairy Farm went into operation.

Up to now, the total herd has 4,807 cows, the number of milking cows is 2,360, the rest are replacement heifers; average milk yield is 35.8 liters/day/cow.

At the meeting, the representative of Phu Yen High-Tech Dairy Farm Co., Ltd. said that the TH project is currently facing difficulties in ensuring the distance from the farm to residential areas according to current regulations. To comply with the provisions of the Animal Husbandry Law, the company needs the support and companionship of the Provincial People's Committee to remove the obstacles.

Speaking at the working session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van highly appreciated the efforts, sense of responsibility and determination of Phu Yen High-Tech Dairy Farm Company Limited in the process of implementing the TH project.

The province always identifies high-tech agriculture, associated with deep processing and product consumption according to the value chain as one of the strategic directions for sustainable development.

Regarding the recommendations of enterprises, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the provincial departments and agencies, together with the locality, to proactively review, guide, and remove difficulties, and report to the Provincial People's Committee for timely direction. The goal is to ensure the project is implemented smoothly, in accordance with regulations and maximize investment efficiency.

Comrade Nguyen Thien Van requested Phu Yen High-Tech Dairy Farm Co., Ltd. to continue applying advanced science and technology in production and breeding; at the same time, pay attention to environmental protection through planting trees to ensure the surrounding air, using products to treat odors... to limit the impact on the lives of surrounding people.
