A “party” of the countryside people is set up on the old riverside with Quang cuisine, folk games, country music … Outside the river, boats along the Thu Bon River slowly paddle the water, taking tourists to listen to the sound of sharp nets, the sound of waves lulling the shore and the rhythm of folk songs, letting the sounds of the old fishing village echo.

According to Ms. Do Thi Bich Thuy - Vice Chairman of Cam Kim Commune People's Committee, this event was planned to take place on the evening of April 11 (16th lunar month), the time when there is a full moon will create more attraction for the rural market, but due to bad weather, it had to be postponed. This is the first trial market session of 3 sessions that the locality plans to organize before considering maintaining it regularly every month to serve the people and tourists.

It can be seen that the attraction of Kim Bong rural market is quite large with the event welcoming thousands of visitors on the evening of April 14. However, it also needs to be carefully planned to maintain the attraction of this activity in the long term.

Cam Kim has recently been oriented to become a green destination, so some of the previous smaller-scale rural markets, combined with the Kim Bong carpentry festival, have conveyed the message of no plastic bags and no plastic waste. Therefore, the organizers of Kim Bong rural market need to maintain the identity of the market if they want the event to have a long-term position.

In addition, the scale of the organization is also an issue to consider. In the riverside space next to the old ferry wharf with a small area, in the long term it is necessary to calculate the appropriate load capacity so that the visitor experience is complete, avoiding the situation of excessive commercialization that will make the event not maintain the rustic, rural features as at the beginning.
