Hong Ha Ward is ready for urban government from July 1

According to the administrative unit arrangement plan of Hanoi People's Committee, Hong Ha ward will officially start operating under the urban government model from July 1. The work of preparing facilities and transferring headquarters is being urgently implemented.

The boundary of Hong Ha ward includes the entire area outside the Red River dike, with an estimated area of ​​16.61km² and a population of 126,062 people. Preparations for this important administrative change in the locality are being carried out urgently.

According to the plan, the Party Committee headquarters of Hong Ha ward will be located at 362 Au Co street - currently the headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Nhat Tan ward (Tay Ho district). The repair work of the headquarters is being carried out quickly to ensure that the facilities are ready to receive work from current administrative agencies.

Sharing with reporters, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tu and Mr. Pham Quy Duy, land officials of Nhat Tan ward, said that the repair work of the headquarters is being accelerated. All files and papers have been packaged in preparation for the handover; administrative procedures to serve the needs of the people are still maintained normally.

The renovation of facilities is also being urgently carried out.

The headquarters of the People's Council and People's Committee of Hong Ha Ward will be located at 30 Tu Lien Street (Tay Ho District), which is currently the working place of the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Tu Lien Ward. Preparations for the new urban government at this location are being actively implemented, with the goal of ensuring it will be operational from July 1.

Despite the change in administrative units, activities at the ward's "one-stop" department still take place normally and do not affect the people.

The newly established Hong Ha Ward is an area with special features both in terms of administrative boundaries and cultural characteristics. One of the unique features is that the ward has a large area of ​​kumquat and peach trees, contributing to the typical Tet atmosphere of Hanoi people.

In addition, Quang An flower market and Long Bien wholesale market are considered the "never-sleep" markets of Hanoi, always bustling 24 hours a day.

On July 1, the administrative agencies of Hong Ha ward will officially come into operation under the two-level local government model. This is an important turning point in the development process of Hanoi city.
