| Hai Chau District is striving towards the goal of deploying 96 free public wifi points for residents by the end of 2024. |
Accordingly, Hai Chau district will install free wifi systems at cultural houses, community centers, parks, and walking gardens in 13 wards.
The goal is to coordinate with telecommunications units and businesses to install wifi systems at 96 locations by the end of 2024 with an estimated operating cost of about 288 million VND/year.
Within the framework of the program, the People's Committee of Hoa Cuong Nam Ward introduced and launched a free digital transformation class model for the elderly called "Smartphone and internet - Easy and safe" to help people easily access information, download, use digital platforms, look up, submit administrative procedures online, participate in online courses, update news...
On the same day, Viettel Da Nang presented 6 smartphones with a free 4G network package for 90 days to families in difficult circumstances in Hoa Cuong Nam ward.
It is known that from July 21 to August 28, Viettel Da Nang supported 30 smartphones for 25 households in difficult circumstances in Hai Chau district.
