Hoang Mai District received the First Class Labor Medal

Kinhtedothi - On December 30, the District Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoang Mai District (Hanoi) solemnly held a ceremony to receive the First Class Labor Medal and summarize the implementation of political tasks in 2024. Outstanding achievements

Hoang Mai is the fourth largest district in the capital (after Long Bien, Ha Dong and Bac Tu Liem districts), has the largest population among 30 districts, towns and cities in Hanoi, with more than 720,000 people and is the southern gateway of the city.

During 21 years of construction and development, the Party Committee, government and people of Hoang Mai have always promoted the spirit of solidarity, focused on overcoming all difficulties, been proactive and creative in unleashing potential, making the most of local advantages, and focused all investment resources to improve people's lives and improve the urban landscape.

In particular, from 2018 to 2023, Hoang Mai district has had many outstanding achievements, with a high economic growth rate, averaging 11.2% per year. In 2023, the total production value of the district's main industries will reach 55,443 billion VND; the economic structure will shift positively, in which industry and services will increasingly account for a high proportion in the economic structure.

The socio-economic infrastructure system has been invested in and built in a synchronous and modern direction with many dynamic projects and works in accordance with the general planning. Education, health care and culture have had many positive changes, in which Hoang Mai education is among the top in the capital. Local security and defense are maintained, urban management work has increasingly changed positively.

The urban face of Hoang Mai district is changing in a positive direction.

Hoang Mai is a large party organization with 83 affiliated grassroots party organizations and over 20,000 party members; proactive, creative, and persistent; stable in ideology, unified in leadership, direction, and organization of task implementation.

The leadership methods of Party committees from district to grassroots levels have undergone many innovations; the quality of all aspects of Party building work has been improved. Thanks to that, the trust of the masses and people in the Party has increased day by day.

With the achievements, in recent years, the Party Committee, government and people of Hoang Mai district have been awarded many noble prizes by the Party, the State and Hanoi City. In 2024, the district was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal from the President.

Continue to innovate

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of Hoang Mai district in socio-economic development in recent times. After 20 years of establishment, the position of Hoang Mai district has been increasingly affirmed, the strengths and expertise of the land rich in tradition have been promoted, making an important contribution to building a civilized and prosperous capital.

In 2024, Hoang Mai district continued to promote results, implementing many school construction projects and key traffic projects, completing 17/17 development targets, of which 9/17 targets exceeded the plan, being one of the localities with the best public investment disbursement in Hanoi.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong directed that in the coming time, Hoang Mai district needs to continue to innovate, strive harder, creatively and flexibly apply the Party's guidelines and policies, the Central's and the City's mechanisms and policies; take advantage of new opportunities and chances, mobilize maximum resources to effectively promote all potentials and advantages of the district.

Receiving the direction of the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong, Secretary of the Hoang Mai District Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Linh affirmed that 2025 is the final year of the 5-year plan, with many major anniversaries of the country, the year of implementing many major policies of the Party and State, so the District Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee will continue to promote their achievements, organize party congresses at all levels and summarize the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TU dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, operate effectively and efficiently".

The Party Committee and government of Hoang Mai district will absorb the direction of the City leaders, have clear and transparent awareness and thinking in the implementation process to create momentum for good implementation of the 2025 - 2030 term.
