On the afternoon of October 24, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) held a meeting between the FLF and FDI enterprises in Thanh Hoa on the implementation of labor regimes, policies, laws, labor relations and trade union activities in enterprises. As of October 20, 2024, 37 FDI companies had 169,492 employees. In September and October, the companies maintained good employment for their employees. Despite few orders, 30/37 companies still organized overtime in some departments, specifically: 15/30 companies had overtime of 0.5 - 1.5 hours/day; 15 companies had overtime of 2 - 4 hours on some days of the week.

100% of enterprises have paid salaries, meal allowances, attendance allowances, fuel allowances and other allowances to workers on time. 5 enterprises increased meal allowances, specifically: TMVT Production Company Limited increased from 20,000 VND to 25,000 VND; Ny Hoa Viet Company Limited increased from 16,500 VND to 20,000 VND; Kim Viet Vietnam Shoes Company Limited increased from 20,000 VND to 22,000 VND; Appareltech Vinh Loc Export Garment Company Limited increased from 15,000 VND to 22,000 VND; Polywell Creation Ltd. Company Limited increased from 15,000 VND to 20,000 VND, fuel allowance from 200,000 VND/month to 250,000 VND/month.

100% of companies have paid social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance to the social insurance agency on time and paid full monthly sick leave and maternity benefits to employees. The total number of employees of the companies who paid social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance is 161,285 people, reaching 95.1%; the remaining number is 8,207 people, accounting for 4.9%, because they have just started working at the company. The average income of employees in September and October is 7,853,000 VND/person/month.
