To respond to the storm, the Provincial Military Command coordinated with the Army units stationed in the area to prepare mobile forces and vehicles to respond to situations that may arise. Strictly maintain the on-duty regime, proactively monitor and grasp the developments of the storm and heavy rain; check, supplement, and adjust plans and strategies to adapt in a timely manner; deploy prevention and control measures, ensure the safety of barracks, warehouses, and construction works. Forces and vehicles are ready to participate in the response, with the total number of mobilized military units of the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 3 stationed in the area and officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces being 3,023 comrades; vehicles: 68 cars; 18 ships; 59 boats; 6 special vehicles.
The work of calling on boats and ensuring safety of aquaculture areas with a total of 109 passenger ships and 370 tourist ships has been informed about the storm and is ready to return to storm shelters when ordered. All ships have been informed about the storm and are expected to return to their anchorages. 3,884 fishing vessels operating along the coast have anchored in sheltered areas and fishing ports in the province. The whole province has 7,929 aquaculture facilities (including 800 aquaculture facilities at sea). The facilities have taken measures to prevent storms such as: Reinforcing cages, bringing people ashore (priority given to women, the elderly and children).
Currently, the Provincial Military Command has completed preparations and is ready to mobilize to participate in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 9. The joint search and rescue team on Ha Long Bay strictly maintains its duty schedule, regularly monitors the situation at sea and unusual weather developments, and is ready to mobilize for search and rescue, and respond to ensure the safety of forces and vehicles. The Provincial Military Command has deploy the establishment of command posts to direct the implementation of response work to storm No. 9.
