(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the morning of September 4, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province held a conference to launch the model of "Bright, green, clean, beautiful, safe" residential area and train on implementing criteria for building a new rural area model in 2025 in village 2, Ngoc Lien commune.

This is one of five residential areas selected by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to implement the construction of a "Bright, green, clean, beautiful, safe" residential area model in 2025.

At the conference, representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee deployed the plan and provided instructions for building the residential area model "Bright, green, clean, beautiful, safe"; leaders of Ngoc Lien commune announced the decision to establish and approved the operating regulations of the model's Executive Board.

Accordingly, the Executive Board operates on the principle of voluntariness, self-awareness, and self-management, aiming to gather union members, association members, and people of all walks of life to organize implementation. Thereby, contributing to raising awareness in implementing legal regulations in crime prevention and control; environmental protection, food hygiene and safety; improving knowledge in cultivation, animal husbandry, and disease prevention and control; using electricity safely, economically, and effectively.

The implementation of the residential area model "Bright, green, clean, beautiful, safe" aims to promote the role of the Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations, the Front Work Committee in the residential area in propagating and mobilizing people to actively respond to the movement of joining hands to build new rural areas, creating a bright, green, clean and beautiful landscape and environment; ensuring security and order, preserving and promoting the unique cultural identity of each region; improving the material and spiritual life of the people. In particular, the model promotes the role of each household in building "Bright, green, clean, beautiful, safe" residential areas, contributing to building model new rural villages and hamlets; building civilized urban areas.

Deputy Chief of Office for Coordination of New Rural Development Program of the province, Duong Van Giang, informed about some basic contents in New Rural Development and model New Rural Development.

Also at the conference, delegates heard comrade Duong Van Giang, Deputy Chief of the Office for Coordinating the Provincial New Rural Development Program, summarize the situation and results of building new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas nationwide and in Thanh Hoa province up to now; some basic contents in building new rural areas and model new rural areas.
