Launching the army to compete in the national excellent student competition for the 2023-2024 school year

This afternoon, December 28, in Dong Ha City, the Department of Education and Training (DoET) held a launching ceremony for the province's excellent student teams to participate in the national excellent student selection exam for the 2023-2024 school year.

The national excellent student selection exam for the 2023-2024 school year took place from January 5-6, 2024. The entire Quang Tri province had 72 students from 9 teams of the following subjects: Mathematics, Informatics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography and English participating in the exam. Of which, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted had 66 students, Vinh Linh High School had 2 students, Ben Hai Secondary and High School had 1 student, Quang Tri Town High School had 2 students, Bui Duc Tai High School had 1 student. The National Excellent Student Training Council has properly and fully implemented the approved plan from October 9 to December 31, 2023; Coordinate well with the leaders of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, schools with students in the team, the representative boards of the parents' associations of the schools and socio -political organizations, businesses, and alumni in the province and nationwide to support facilities and timely financial resources to encourage the students in the team to feel secure in training and attending training at a number of specialized schools and high-quality universities nationwide.

During the training period, the leaders of the training council and Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted strengthened management, actively inspected teaching and learning, and created the best conditions for facilities, while regularly visiting and encouraging teachers and students of the teams. The students made efforts to overcome many difficulties and hardships, actively studied, researched, developed creative thinking, practiced test-taking skills... to be ready to enter the national exam with high results.

On this occasion, leaders of the Department of Education and Training presented flowers to representatives of the National Council for Training Gifted Students, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, and the teams participating in the national contest for gifted students; wishing the 72 students participating in the national cultural contest for excellent students to achieve high results.
