VHO - "SUP Festival - Da Nang Colorful Festival" is one of the outstanding activities in the series of programs Enjoy Da Nang Festival 2025, attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate in the experience, spread a positive lifestyle, and connect the community.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang city, from June 19 to 23, Man Thai beach (Son Tra district, Da Nang city) became the center of a series of attractive sea sports activities with the event "SUP Festival - Da Nang Colorful Festival".

This is one of the outstanding activities within the framework of the Danang Enjoy Festival 2025, attracting a large number of locals and tourists to participate and experience the vibrant summer atmosphere by the sea.

The event kicked off with a display of 300 stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) on the afternoon of June 19. From 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the entire beach area was given a “new look” with colorful SUPs creatively arranged, creating a unique visual art space.

Not only is it a warm-up activity, it is also an ideal check-in spot, attracting young people and tourists to capture beautiful moments on the coast of Da Nang.

Exciting SUP Festival in Da Nang - The colors of sea sports spread to the community

This is one of the outstanding activities of the Danang Enjoy Festival 2025, imbued with community spirit and vibrant summer atmosphere.

The exciting atmosphere continued to spread on the morning of June 20 when the 1,000m men's and women's SUP race officially took place with 20 teams, a total of 40 athletes. Each team consisted of 1 man and 1 woman, paddling a SUP together, starting simultaneously and competing directly.

The race took place amid cheers from the audience, bringing thrilling, exciting moments on the blue waves.

On the morning of June 21, the freestyle double SUP race with a longer distance of 2,500m - continued to challenge 60 athletes on 30 SUPs. With requirements for endurance, good coordination and solid paddling techniques, the race brought dramatic chases, attracting the attention of a large number of viewers.

This is a sport activity with both experiential and competitive nature, contributing to enriching the vibrant summer picture of the coastal city.

The activity also conveys the message of a healthy lifestyle, closeness to the ocean and protection of the ecological environment.

In particular, on June 22 and 23, from 5:00 to 8:00 every morning, the community SUP experience activity takes place with a scale of 1,000 SUPs and about 2,000 participants.

In the fresh dawn air, people and tourists have the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature, enjoying the feeling of gently surfing on the sea surface.

This is considered a meaningful activity, contributing to spreading a healthy lifestyle, close to the marine environment and encouraging the community to participate in outdoor sports activities.

Through a variety of activities, the program contributes to affirming the image of Da Nang as a destination of unique, attractive, rich in identity and full of energy experiences in the summer of 2025.
