Ready for the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union at the grassroots level

The Youth Union of Yen Son commune (Tam Diep city) was selected by the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union as the unit to organize the Congress of the Youth Union at the grassroots level, term 2024-2029.

Yen Son is a mountainous commune of Tam Diep city, with a diverse population with 15% of the population being Buddhists, 18% of the population being Catholics and about 8% of the population being ethnic minorities.

In recent years, the Youth Union and Association work of Yen Son commune has always achieved good results; becoming a "bright spot" of Tam Diep city with many examples of progressive young people doing good business , and excellent union members being admitted to the Party.

Understanding the honor and responsibility of the unit chosen to organize the grassroots congress of the province, the Youth Union of Yen Son commune has seriously implemented steps to prepare for the Congress for the 2024-2029 term.

Comrade Hoang Thi May, Secretary of the Youth Union, President of the Youth Union of Yen Son commune, said: Since December 2023, when it was selected as the unit to organize the grassroots-level Congress for the 2024-2029 term, the Youth Union of the commune has urgently developed a plan to organize the Congress, reported to the superior Union organization and the local Party Committee and government for direction and direction, creating unity in implementation.

Over the past month, we have actively implemented the contents of the Congress organization project such as: building a system of documents with a term report, directions, tasks and new term personnel project; propaganda plan; expected Congress program, venue, number of delegates, guests...

Special attention is paid to developing a new personnel plan to ensure the structure, composition and age, promoting the pioneering spirit, solidarity, innovation and creativity of the youth of Yen Son commune. Up to now, the preparation work has been completed, ready for the organization of the Congress on January 14, 2024.

During the implementation of preparations for the Congress, the Youth Union of Yen Son commune always received regular guidance and direction from the superior Union organization, especially from the City Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of Tam Diep city.

Ready for the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union at the grassroots level — The working delegation of the Vietnam Youth Union of the province worked with Yen Son commune on organizing the Congress of the Youth Union at the grassroots level.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Tam Diep City, said: The City Youth Union and the City Youth Union regularly exchange and grasp daily information on the preparations for the Congress of the Yen Son Commune Youth Union to promptly guide and urge the preparation of the Congress organization stages.

In addition, we also directed the Association of communes and wards in the area to strengthen propaganda about the provincial grassroots congress in Yen Son commune; coordinate with the City Department of Culture to promote visually on electronic boards.

The successful organization of the Vietnam Youth Union Congress at the grassroots level, term 2024-2029, is not only important for Yen Son commune, Tam Diep city, but also a basis for the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union to evaluate the preparation and organization of the Congress in the locality, thereby drawing specific lessons for other units to better prepare and organize the Congress in their units.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Hiep, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union, said: The goal of the Provincial Union is to complete the organization of the Vietnam Youth Union Congress at the grassroots level in April 2024, and organize the Congresses at the district and provincial levels in 2024. Therefore, directing the successful organization of the grassroots model Congress has important significance and practical value to gain experience for directing and organizing implementation on a large scale.

In addition to developing specific plans and guidance documents, the Provincial Association has directly worked with the Party Committee, People's Committee and Vietnam Youth Union of Yen Son commune to complete the preparation steps for organizing the model Congress; directly contributed comprehensive comments on the documents and preparation stages as well as actively coordinated with the locality in removing difficulties in funding for organizing the Congress.

The new point of this Congress is that the Provincial Association directs the promotion of digital technology application in the organization of the Congress, from the digitization of documents to the roll call of delegates. In addition, the Provincial Association also supports the installation of booths displaying typical youth products on the virtual agricultural product exchange Agriverse at the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union in Yen Son commune.

With careful and active preparation from the province to the grassroots, we believe that the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Yen Son commune, term 2024-2029, will be a great success. From this Congress, it will make an important contribution to the Union organizations in the whole province to complete the organization of grassroots and district-level congresses, towards the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of the province, term 2024-2029.
