Up to this point, preparations for the 55th Anniversary Week of Dong Loc Victory and the 55th Anniversary of the K130 Village Achievement (1968-2023) are being vigorously carried out by all levels, sectors, and organizations in Ha Tinh and the Central Government, ready for the event to take place successfully.

Activities to celebrate the 55th anniversary of Dong Loc Victory and commemorate the 55th anniversary of the sacrifice of 10 heroic female martyrs of the Youth Volunteer Force at Dong Loc T-junction, and the 55th anniversary of the K130 Village victory, include two main contents: Cultural Week "Sacred Dong Loc" and activities "Repaying gratitude", "When drinking water, remember its source".

In particular, the "Sacred Dong Loc" Cultural Week takes place from July 20 to July 27, 2023, with the following contents: Art program to celebrate the 55th anniversary of Dong Loc Victory, the 55th anniversary of the K130 Village feat (expected to take place on the evening of July 22, 2023, at Dong Loc T-junction relic site); "Ha Tinh - Rendezvous" exhibition to promote and introduce cultural and tourism locations and products of Ha Tinh province (from July 20 to 27, 2023, at Dong Loc T-junction relic site).

Sports and cultural activities (from July 20 to 24, 2023, at Dong Loc T-junction Relic Site); provincial-level candle-lighting ceremony at Dong Loc T-junction Relic Site (scheduled for the evening of July 21, at Dong Loc T-junction Relic Site); 55th death anniversary of 10 female heroic martyrs of the Youth Volunteer Force (scheduled for July 24, 2023, at Dong Loc T-junction Relic Site); inauguration of the national relic K130 Village (scheduled for July 23, 2023, at K130 Village, Nghen town, Can Loc district).

As the host and coordinator of many activities during the celebration, over the past time, Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union has actively carried out many preparations for the event to take place as planned.

Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Ny Huong said: “Following the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has closely coordinated with Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Central Youth Union to develop the program content and script, proactively deploying preparations for the art program and the Cultural Week "Sacred Dong Loc". At the same time, directing all levels of the Youth Union, associations and teams in the province to deploy a wide range of political activities and gratitude activities towards this series of meaningful events".

Along with coordinating the preparation of contents, on this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union also directed the Can Loc District Youth Union to deploy environmental sanitation work at the Dong Loc T-junction relic site and the K130 village relic site.

At the same time, to support the Management Board of Dong Loc T-junction Relic Site in welcoming visitors to offer incense and visit during the "Sacred Dong Loc" Cultural Week, the unit is also recruiting volunteers to serve the event.

One of the highlights of the "Sacred Dong Loc" Cultural Week is the art program "Sacred Land of Dong Loc - Connecting the Thousand-Year Vein", commemorating the 55th anniversary of the Dong Loc Victory, the 55th anniversary of the K130 Village feat, organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper - Nhan Dan Television Center, Ha Tinh province. Up to this point, after completing the script, art units in Hanoi and Ha Tinh Traditional Art Theater are actively practicing, preparing the best for the performance.

Up to now, the artists and actors have basically mastered their performances. It is expected that on July 16, we will go to Ha Tinh to rehearse with the crew of Ha Tinh Traditional Arts Theater and on July 20, we will run the program, before the event takes place on the evening of July 22".

Beginning with the opening scene of the origin and cultural depth of the homeland of Hong Mountain and La River - a land of outstanding people, rich in cultural traditions and revolutionary history, up to the historical milestone of Dong Loc Victory 55 years ago, the art program recreated the space and atmosphere of the heroic fighting days, the bravery and sacrifice... of the people of Ha Tinh in general and the people of K130 Village, 10 heroic female martyrs of the Youth Volunteer Force at Dong Loc Junction.

Besides recreating stories and specific historical figures that took place 55 years ago at Dong Loc T-junction and K130 Village, the program also shows the bustling atmosphere of the new day of Dong Loc town with its strong development today.

Tourists offer incense at Dong Loc T-junction

As the venue for the "Sacred Dong Loc" Cultural Week event, the Management Board of the Dong Loc T-junction Relic Site has also carefully prepared the necessary conditions in terms of facilities, environmental landscape; improved knowledge and professional skills for staff... to serve the event.

Mr. Dao Van Tuan - Deputy Head of the Management Board of Dong Loc T-junction Relic Site said: "We have repaired a number of items such as: repainting the victory monument; repairing the halls serving tourists; paving the sidewalks leading to the relic site; preparing space for the exhibition area "Ha Tinh - Rendezvous", promoting and introducing cultural and tourism locations and products of Ha Tinh province... In addition, to better welcome visitors, at the end of June 2023, we sent a team of tour guides from the relic site to Thai Nguyen province for professional training".

To prepare for the celebration, the Management Board of Dong Loc T-junction Relic Site has restored and renovated many items.

Can Loc district has also directed local authorities, departments, branches and organizations to deploy tasks according to plan.

In particular, as the host unit of the inauguration ceremony of the national relic Village K130, Can Loc District People's Committee has completed the construction items and is coordinating with Ha Tinh Museum to collect documents and artifacts for display at the traditional house of the relic site.
