According to initial information, on the evening of July 7, at Km8+900 on National Highway 15D (the only route leading to La Lay International Border Gate), a large crack appeared on the top of the hill. Immediately after, dozens of cubic meters of rock and soil collapsed and spilled onto the road, completely blocking traffic through the area.

Upon receiving the news, the authorities and construction units set up checkpoints at both ends of the landslide to ensure the safety of people and vehicles. At the same time, they quickly mobilized machinery and human resources to clear rocks and soil and fix the problem.
