SJC, Bao Tin Minh Chau, Doji and TPBank were fined

(Dan Tri) - The National Competition Commission fined SJC, Bao Tin Minh Chau, Doji and TPBank for providing misleading information about products to attract customers of other businesses.

The National Competition Commission ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) has just issued a decision to sanction Saigon Jewelry Company Limited (SJC), Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited, Doji Jewelry Group Joint Stock Company and Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank for unfair competition.

Accordingly, these companies were fined 200 million VND for providing misleading information to customers about products in order to attract customers of other businesses.

In addition, these businesses are forced to publicly correct misleading information about their products on their websites.

During the investigation, the authorities said that Saigon Jewelry Company Limited, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited, Doji Jewelry Group Joint Stock Company and Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank actively cooperated in providing information and documents to the National Competition Commission. At the same time, the enterprises also took measures to prevent and reduce the consequences of violations.
