Mid-term review of the implementation of the Resolution of the 15th Congress of Women's Delegates of Quang Tri province

This morning, July 3, the Provincial Women's Union held a mid-term review conference on the implementation of the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Women's Congress, term 2021-2026. After half a term of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress and the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Women's Congress, all levels of the association, cadres and women's union members in the province have effectively deployed emulation movements, campaigns, breakthroughs and key tasks of the association.

9/9 targets of the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Women's Congress have been achieved and exceeded the plan. The Women's Unions at all levels have organized large-scale events and community activities, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, contributing to spreading the beautiful image of Quang Tri women. Sustainable poverty reduction programs; participating in environmental protection, actively building new rural areas, promoting the application of digital technology ... have been effectively implemented.

Along with that, the union at all levels has effectively organized the emulation movement "Building Quang Tri women of the new era, with knowledge, morality, health, patriotism, loyalty, responsibility to family and community" associated with implementing the Campaign to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; building a family of "5 no, 3 clean"; "5 yes, 3 clean" to propagate, educate , mobilize and support women to participate in solving a number of social issues related to women and children...

Social security work is focused on, the "Godmother" program is organized effectively, thereby helping disadvantaged students have conditions to study and improve in life, 655/1,505 orphans have been sponsored. At the same time, the association at all levels has focused on building a strong association in all aspects, focusing on the grassroots, promoting the application of information technology in management, operation and implementation of association activities.

The conference also focused on clarifying existing problems, limitations, lessons learned, and proposed solutions for implementation in the coming time to ensure the completion of the goals and targets set out in the congress resolution.

Accordingly, the four key tasks that the association at all levels will focus on implementing in the coming time include: innovating propaganda, mobilization, and awareness raising work; innovating direction and management work; training, fostering, and improving the quality of association officials at all levels; improving the effectiveness of coordination with sectors, strengthening linkage activities, coordination, and resource mobilization.

In her speech, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Le Thi Lan Huong affirmed that at the 15th Provincial Women's Congress, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee conveyed to all the Women's Unions the spirit of " Quang Tri Women's solidarity, creativity, and aspiration for development" with many expectations. Therefore, all levels of the union continue to make that spirit and aspiration spread strongly in every cadre and Women's Union in the whole province.

At the same time, it is recommended that all levels of the association properly assess the implementation of movements, tasks and targets set out in the congress resolution in order to have solutions to effectively implement the remaining targets and tasks of the term.

During the implementation process, all levels of the association must innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of emulation movements launched by the association; mobilize the intellectual strength of female members, and inspire the replication of good practices and creative ideas.

Mobilize all resources, determined to create new breakthroughs in supporting women in economic development, sustainable poverty reduction; help women and children in vulnerable groups in society; participate in solving a number of social issues related to women and children. The Association also needs to have more effective and practical solutions in mobilizing and supporting women to promote their role as the main subject in raising children, building prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized families.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission also requested that all levels of the association do a better job of uniting and gathering female members, and building a strong association organization. Focus on training and fostering professional qualifications, skills, and association work skills for cadres at all levels. Do a good job of planning, training, and discovering talented and young cadres to nurture and create a source of female leaders at all levels.

Focus on improving the effectiveness of inspection, supervision and social criticism, contributing ideas to Party and government building, especially issues directly related to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of HVPN. Regularly do a good job of selecting, training and introducing outstanding members for the Party to consider and admit.

Within the framework of the conference, the Provincial Women's Union and the State Bank of the province signed a cooperation program for the period 2024-2027. The Organizing Committee donated 6 computers to the grassroots Women's Union with a total cost of 60 million VND; awarded prizes for the Contest "Application of information technology in organizing union activities" in 2024.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Emulation Flag to the Provincial Women's Union; the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the Provincial Women's Union awarded certificates of merit to individuals with outstanding achievements in performing union tasks and emulation movements in 2023.
