The organizers said the contest received 699 entries. The jury selected 50 excellent entries for the final round and displayed them at the exhibition of the same name. Due to the quality exceeding expectations, this year's award structure was adjusted, adding a second prize to promptly honor the creativity of the authors.

The first prize was awarded to the work “Strengthening” by author Nguyen Tien Anh Tuan, capturing the image of a formation of Su-30MK2 fighter jets performing technical demonstrations and dropping heat traps during the A50 ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City. The image not only makes a strong visual impression, but also evokes feelings of pride in a young city that is changing strongly but still does not forget its historical milestones.

Journalist Huynh Truong Giang, a member of the jury, commented: “Many works captured precious moments with creative perspectives on the city’s development. Although there was no truly outstanding work to be awarded the Special Prize, the 13 official awards and 3 voting awards showed a successful, inspiring competition season that promises to last a long time.”

Also within the framework of the event, the photo exhibition “HCMC - New Colors” opened, introducing to the public 50 finalist works, bringing a vivid picture of the city through the lens of photography.
