On August 28 at the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site ( Hanoi ), the Central Propaganda Department of the Youth Union coordinated with units to organize the program "Youth remembers Uncle Ho's Testament and follows in his footsteps" in 2024.

Attending the program was Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Standing Secretary of the Central Youth Union.

This is one of the activities of the Central Youth Union organized to celebrate the 55th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh 's Testament (1969 - 2024), an opportunity for the youth of the Central Youth Union to express their respect and deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh.

At the same time, draw lessons from the process of implementing His Testament to continue to better fulfill our duties in the coming time.

In a solemn atmosphere at a special location, associated with the time Uncle Ho lived and worked, delegates who were union members and outstanding youth from many agencies and units of the Central and the capital watched the report "Youth remembers Uncle Ho's Testament and follows in his footsteps", and listened to lessons from the ideology, wisdom, morality and noble soul of President Ho Chi Minh through the presentations of the speakers.

A typical example is the sharing about the birth circumstances, core content, value and meaning of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament by Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Bao - former acting head of the Ho Chi Minh Ideology Department (Academy of Journalism and Communication).

At the same time, delegates also heard from Ms. Cu Thi Minh - Deputy Director of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site - about simple but profound stories during the 15 years Uncle Ho lived and worked at the Presidential Palace...

At the program, delegates and guests reviewed the significance, contemporary value, profound practical theory of the Testament, the ideology and moral example of President Ho Chi Minh in the current cause of building and defending the country. Thereby helping young people better understand their role and responsibility in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Looking back at 55 years of implementing Uncle Ho's Testament, delegates unanimously agreed that as a revolutionary shock force, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union needs to continue to clearly affirm its role as a "socialist school for youth".

Every cadre, young party member, union member and youth needs to be imbued with and take the lead in studying and following Uncle Ho, contributing to promoting the vanguard spirit to realize Uncle Ho's wish for a Vietnam "standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers".
