Strengthening the management of electronic stamps on domestically produced cigarettes and alcohol

Today, February 27, the Provincial People's Committee issued an official dispatch on strengthening solutions to manage electronic stamps for domestically produced cigarettes and alcohol.

Accordingly, to improve the efficiency of managing electronic stamps for domestically produced and consumed alcohol and tobacco products, contributing to managing consumption output and preventing tax losses, the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Tax Department to advise the Provincial People's Committee to supplement the composition and tasks of the Steering Committee against budget losses and tax arrears to direct the management of electronic stamps for domestically produced and consumed alcohol and tobacco products.

At the same time, advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue coordination regulations for implementation. Strengthen propaganda to organizations and individuals producing tobacco and alcohol on the implementation of electronic stamps. The Department of Industry and Trade presides over and coordinates with sectors and localities to review and evaluate the production and trading situation of tobacco and alcohol in the province. Strengthen inspection and sanction violations of regulations on stamping alcohol and tobacco according to regulations.

The Provincial People's Committee also requested the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to direct the People's Committees of wards, communes and towns and their affiliated agencies and units to closely coordinate with the tax authorities to implement the management of electronic tobacco stamps and electronic alcohol stamps in the area according to the circular of the Ministry of Finance . At the same time, strengthen inspection and control of production and trading activities of alcohol and tobacco products for sale and circulation in the area. Strengthen information exchange between departments and branches to bring the management of electronic alcohol stamps and electronic tobacco stamps into standards, and strictly handle acts of using electronic stamps in violation of regulations.
