Increase support and diversify activities to take care of workers during Tet 2026

The highlight this year is increasing the value of Tet gifts and diversifying support forms.

Accordingly, the support level for union members and workers during Tet this year is expected to be from 1 to 1.5 million VND/person, higher than the maximum level of 1 million VND in 2025. The gifts, including cash and in-kind gifts, are high-quality Vietnamese goods, allocated to ensure both spiritual encouragement and practical needs during Tet. These are practical contents, clearly demonstrating the concern of the trade union organization for union members, especially workers in difficult circumstances.

The Trade Union will also organize a “Union Year-end Dinner” right at the facility. Each meal is worth 70,000 VND from the trade union fund, combined with socialized resources from businesses and localities.

In addition to giving gifts directly, the General Confederation also launched many large-scale activities, such as: "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" providing essential goods at preferential prices, even "0 VND"; "Trade Union Tet Market" online; distributing 300,000 shopping vouchers (an increase of 100,000 compared to 2025); supporting bus tickets, train tickets, and plane tickets to bring tens of thousands of workers home for Tet.
