Facilitate taxpayers to implement tax policies

On March 14, Thanh Hoa Provincial Tax Department organized a training conference to guide tax settlement in 2023 and dialogue with taxpayers in the province in the first quarter of 2024. Attending the conference were representatives of leaders of functional departments under Thanh Hoa Provincial Tax Department and more than 800 delegates representing agencies, units, enterprises and business households in the province.

Overview of the conference.

At the conference, delegates were introduced to a number of newly issued tax policies; instructions on finalizing corporate income tax and personal income tax in 2023. Accordingly, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Tax Department deployed instructions for payment organizations to review and standardize tax registration information of individuals and dependents through income payment agencies (phase 2) to speed up the progress of standardizing tax registration data of individuals and dependents on the tax system, thereby completing the synchronization of tax data for personal identification tax codes instead of tax codes. Introduce the benefits and instructions on registering and using electronic invoices with tax authority codes generated from cash registers.

In the dialogue between the tax authority and taxpayers, opinions focused on issues such as: registration for family deductions when calculating personal income tax, subjects considered as dependents; dependent registration dossiers; registration of tax codes for dependents, registration for family deductions; personal income tax for house rentals, property rentals; tax declaration and settlement for employees with two or more sources; place to submit tax settlements; personal income tax deductions for seasonal workers... The opinions were basically answered fully, clearly, and in accordance with the law by representatives of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Tax Department right at the conference.

The problems of taxpayers were received and answered directly and specifically by the leaders of Thanh Hoa Provincial Tax Department for each case right at the conference.
