Create conditions for Ha Tinh and Australian localities to cooperate in investment in various fields.

During the working trip to Ha Tinh , on the morning of July 3, the delegation of the Australian Embassy in Vietnam led by Mr. Andrew Goledzinowski - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary had a working session with the provincial leaders.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung expressed his joy at welcoming the delegation from the Australian Embassy in Vietnam; at the same time, he gave general information about the history, culture, tradition of studiousness, potential, strengths of Ha Tinh and the achievements in socio -economic development of the province.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: Ha Tinh is very appreciative of the support from the Australian Government in the implementation of a number of FDI projects and non-refundable aid projects. The programs and projects have been effective, contributing to promoting poverty reduction and promoting socio-economic development of the province.

Ha Tinh Province hopes that the Ambassador and members of the delegation will connect and promote to localities, businesses, corporations and organizations in Australia the image, people, potential, advantages and priority investment areas of Ha Tinh (especially steel industry, supporting industry, post-steel manufacturing and electricity production; agriculture, forestry and fisheries; logistics services and tourism); creating conditions for Ha Tinh enterprises and Australian enterprises and localities to cooperate in investment.

The Provincial Party Secretary also asked the Ambassador to introduce a province or city in Australia to establish a sister city with Ha Tinh to deepen the cooperation between the two sides; pay attention and support for officials and civil servants of Ha Tinh province to participate in training programs and courses to develop human resources in various fields; call on organizations to accompany Ha Tinh in supporting poor students with good academic performance; support visa procedures for people and businesses of Ha Tinh in particular and Vietnam in general when coming to Australia.

Support information provision and connection for Ha Tinh to learn about the export market of the province's advantageous products to Australia; support training of high-quality human resources, help the province build renewable energy projects, solid waste treatment, administrative reform; call on Australian enterprises to research and invest in Vung Ang Economic Zone with projects in manufacturing and processing industry, post-steel industry, supporting industry, green and environmentally friendly industries.

At the meeting, Ambassador Andrew Goledzinowski sincerely thanked the Provincial Party Secretary and leaders of Ha Tinh province for their thoughtful and respectful welcome; at the same time, expressed his feelings about the friendly and hospitable people of Ha Tinh; the land of Ha Tinh is rich in historical traditions, culture, and cuisine, with many potentials and advantages for development.

Ambassador Andrew Goledzinowski also affirmed that Vietnam is one of the important and strategic partners of Australia, the diplomatic relationship between the two governments is strong and he hopes that in the coming time, Ha Tinh province and Australian partners will strengthen their cooperative relationship; especially cooperation in areas of strength of Australian investors.

At the meeting, members of the Australian Embassy delegation in Vietnam and Ha Tinh delegates also discussed a number of issues related to investment cooperation. Ha Tinh hopes that the delegation will pay attention to introducing Australian businesses to research and invest in wind power, solar power, and renewable energy projects in the province; support investment promotion in supporting industries, seaports, and logistics; support the development of science, technology, and innovation, etc.
