On the afternoon of July 18, the delegation of the Vietnam Summer Camp 2024 came to give gifts to children at the Ha Tinh Orphanage.


Students representing 28 countries and territories participating in the Vietnam Summer Camp 2024 donated a total of VND 28.5 million to representatives of the Ha Tinh Orphanage. This meaningful gift shows the care and affection of Vietnamese youth abroad for unfortunate children.


The 2024 Vietnam Summer Camp with the theme "A Country Full of Joy" is organized to respond to the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country. The program is expected to take place from July 14 to July 29 in many localities across the three regions of the North, Central and South including: Hanoi, Phu Tho, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh), Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan , Binh Thuan and Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnam Summer Camp is an annual program (since 2003) chaired by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and organized in coordination with relevant agencies with the aim of creating conditions for the young generation of overseas Vietnamese around the world to return to the country to learn about the nation's traditions, culture and history and to exchange and strengthen solidarity.
