Delegation of Vietnam Summer Camp 2024 exchange in Ha Tinh

The exchange activities of the 2024 Vietnam Summer Camp delegates with Ha Tinh youth have contributed to creating connections with the homeland, fostering love for the country and national pride.

On the morning of July 18, the delegation of Vietnam Summer Camp 2024 led by Ms. Pham Thi Kim Hoa - Director of the Department of Information and Culture, State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (Ministry of Foreign Affairs ) came to exchange with Ha Tinh youth at Thien Cam beach.

Representatives of the Department of Information and Culture, the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union attended the Vietnam Summer Camp 2024. The 2024 Vietnam Summer Camp has the participation of 120 delegates from 28 countries and territories. These are exemplary students with good academic achievements and many contributions to the youth, student or community movement towards their homeland. The delegates are aged 16-24. At Thien Cam beach, the delegation of Vietnam Summer Camp and Ha Tinh youth participated in group games. This is an opportunity for young Vietnamese people around the world to have the opportunity to interact and connect with Ha Tinh youth in particular and Vietnamese youth in general. Delegates of the 2024 Vietnam Summer Camp and Ha Tinh Youth Union members "joined hands", showing the spirit of solidarity. Collective recreational activities and exchanges have also contributed to helping young Vietnamese people abroad promote patriotism and national pride, maintain close relationships with their homeland and country, and strive together with young people at home for a prosperous Vietnam. Delegates of Vietnam Summer Camp 2024 took souvenir photos with Ha Tinh youth.

The 2024 Vietnam Summer Camp with the theme "The Country is Full of Joy" is organized to respond to the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country. The program is expected to take place from July 14 to July 29 in many localities across the three regions of the North, Central and South including: Hanoi, Phu Tho, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh), Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan and Ho Chi Minh City.

Vietnam Summer Camp is an annual program (since 2003) chaired by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and organized in coordination with relevant agencies, with the aim of creating conditions for the young generation of overseas Vietnamese around the world to return to the country to learn about the nation's traditions, culture and history and to exchange and strengthen solidarity.
