Create an experiential playground for young people

After merging commune-level administrative units, the scope of communes and wards expanded, the number of union members and youth in each commune and ward after the merger increased significantly. Organizing healthy playgrounds that attract young people is very necessary.

This is not only an environment for young union members to exchange and connect, but also helps to erase geographical and psychological distances between old areas and is also an opportunity for young union members to practice, mature, bond and accompany the Youth Union and Association organizations.

Youthful playground

By finding the challenge stations; using intelligence, skills, physical strength, and solidarity to complete the challenges set by the Organizing Committee..., the 3rd Brilliant Journey organized by Trang Bom Life Skills Club (Trang Bom commune, Dong Nai province) attracted nearly 400 youth union members and students to participate.

Invited by her friends, Ms. Ly Bui Gia Yen, a student at the College of Mechanics and Irrigation (Long Binh Ward, Dong Nai Province), did not hesitate to try her hand at the journey. Ms. Yen said: The first station her team went through was the challenge station called the Declaration of Independence. At this station, the hands and feet of all members were tied together in a circle, facing outwards and together they overcame obstacles. After overcoming the obstacles, the members had their legs untied and together they found a correct quote from the Declaration of Independence mixed in a bowl of flour along with many other quotes...

In addition to the Declaration of Independence challenge station, the teams participating in the 3rd Brilliant Journey also experienced challenge stations named: Successful August Revolution; Sleepless nights in the heart of Hanoi ; Provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam; Drafting the Declaration of Independence; Uncle Ho reading the Declaration of Independence; Imprints of the Declaration, timeless values...

With the desire to strengthen solidarity, create opportunities for exchange and learning between branches and youth union members, in mid-August 2025, Trang Dai Ward Youth Union, Dong Nai province organized the Teambuilding program Trang Dai Dynamic 2025. Nearly 90 cadres and youth union members in the ward participated in the program, trying their hand at game stations such as: Pioneer in action, Continuous learning, Pure morality, Endless creativity and Aspiration to rise up...

Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, Secretary of the Trang Dai Ward Youth Union Tran Thi Tham said: “This is a new activity of the ward Youth Union since the merger. Our wish when organizing the program is to create conditions for cadres and youth union members of the Youth Union branches in the ward to have the opportunity to meet, exchange, connect, and create a premise for effective coordination in implementing the work of the Youth Union and youth movements in the locality and unit. Therefore, the game stations in the Trang Dai Dynamic Teambuilding program are designed mainly to enhance solidarity and coordination among members.”

Help union members and youth connect and experience

Not only creating a playground, the programs organized by Dong Nai Youth Union at all levels since the administrative unit merger have also had the meaning of connecting and creating opportunities for cadres and young union members to experience.

After the first year of confusion, this year, Bui Gia Loc, a student at Thong Nhat A High School (Trang Bom Commune), is more confident when registering to participate in the Brilliant Journey. Gia Loc shared: 2025 is the second year he has participated. Each time he participates, he has new experiences and the opportunity to review historical knowledge, practice skills, especially teamwork, presentation, communication skills...

In order to create a practical and useful playground for young union members and students to exchange, learn, share experiences, good models, and creative ways of doing things in the work of the Union and the Youth Movement at schools, recently, Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to organize a training camp for high school students in Dong Nai province in 2025.

Youth Union and Association organizations should maintain useful playgrounds and increase activities so that young union members have more opportunities to experience.

As one of the campers participating in the Training Camp, Vo Thi Thanh Nhu, a student at Minh Hung Secondary and High School (Minh Hung Ward, Dong Nai Province) expressed: Thanks to the Training Camp, I have the opportunity to interact and connect with friends from many high schools in the province, through campfire activities and big games. In addition, campers are also trained in manners, discipline, and collective living habits; are fostered in leadership skills, teamwork, situation handling, organizing branch activities, and thematic activities. At the same time, they learn more about digital transformation, digital applications for studying, communication, and implementing Youth Union activities... The Training Camp only lasted for 3 days but helped the campers go from strangers to acquaintances, understanding each other like friends.
