On the morning of August 30, the Provincial Business Association organized a training conference on investigation and survey work on the Department, Branch, District, and City Competitiveness Index (DDCI) of Thai Binh province in 2024 for the investigation team of the consulting unit and the Provincial Statistics Office.

The delegates listened to the Provincial Business Association's general report on the organization and implementation of the DDCI measurement plan of the Provincial People's Committee, new points in the survey methods and procedures, and the content of the DDCI component indicators. The Economic Management Consulting Joint Stock Company is the consulting unit that has guided the survey methods and dissemination of DDCI survey forms in 2024 for two groups: localities and departments, branches and sectors. The General Statistics Office shared about professional methods and expertise in investigating and surveying DDCI.

Delegates discussed and agreed on methods, techniques, and investigation and survey skills to ensure feasibility, ease of implementation, and the number of ballots collected from 2,300 or more, and the quality of analysis and assessment of DDCI is close to the practical quality of economic management of state management agencies.
The leaders of the Provincial Business Association requested that the DDCI investigation and survey process avoid causing complications and affecting the production and business activities of enterprises. Investigators should choose flexible online or direct survey forms, suitable to the level and specific activities of enterprises, cooperatives, and business households; ensure the survey progress, have accurate results to be announced in December 2024 according to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.
