Training to improve information security knowledge and skills to serve digital transformation for IT specialists in Dak Lak province

On the morning of October 1, 2025, the Department of Science and Technology coordinated with VTC Netviet Technology and Communications Joint Stock Company to organize a training course to improve information security knowledge and skills to serve digital transformation for information technology specialists in Dak Lak province.

Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ra Lan Truong Thanh Ha delivered the opening speech of the training course.

This is one of the key activities to implement the "Digital Education for All" Movement in the province, under the 2025 Digital Transformation Training Program according to Decision No. 0801/QD-UBND dated August 4, 2025 of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee. Attending the training course were more than 120 trainees who are civil servants, public employees, and IT officers of Departments, branches, sectors, and People's Committees of communes and wards in the province.

In his opening speech, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Ra Lan Truong Thanh Ha said that in the era of digital transformation, data and information systems are considered valuable "digital assets" of agencies and units. Besides the great benefits that digital technology brings, we are also facing increasingly complex challenges in terms of network safety and security: from the risk of data leakage, malware attacks, to the disruption of online public service systems . Therefore, ensuring information security is considered a prerequisite, a "shield" to protect the achievements of digital transformation and the reputation of state agencies before the people and businesses.

The training course took place from October 1 to October 3, 2025. At the training course, the trainees were taught 4 topics by Dr. Bui Van Cong - Institute of Information Technology, Hanoi National University: Strengthening the work of ensuring information system security and safety; Instructions on malware analysis techniques; Instructions on ensuring information system security at all levels; Responding to information security and safety incidents in information systems.

Through the training course, trainees will be updated with new knowledge, access to specialized skills, especially practice in real-life situations. This will be a valuable asset for each officer, civil servant, and employee in the field of information technology to improve their capacity, proactively prevent and respond to incidents, contributing to maintaining the safety and smoothness of their unit's information systems.
