The conference aims to improve the capacity to resolve, denounce, report crimes, recommend prosecution and investigation, and handle crimes; the detention and execution of criminal sentences of the team of heads and deputy heads of investigation agencies; investigators and investigation officers at all levels; wardens and detention assistants of prisons and military detention camps; agencies assigned to conduct a number of investigation activities; promptly draw lessons from limitations and shortcomings to successfully fulfill their duties and responsibilities in the coming time.

Colonel Pham Duc Tai, Deputy Director of the Criminal Investigation Department, Ministry of National Defense , delivered the opening speech at the conference.

Dr. Hoang Thi Quynh Chi, Director of the Legal Department, Supreme People's Procuracy, introduced the topic at the conference.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Colonel Pham Duc Tai, Deputy Director of the Criminal Investigation Department, Ministry of National Defense, said that at the training program, delegates will study in depth the basic contents of the Laws amended and supplemented in 2025; some new issues on the organization and tactics of criminal investigation; skills, methods, and experiences of criminal investigation, situations that occur in reality; the work of collecting, managing, and using electronic data, monitoring, and positioning; procedures for requesting international arrest; appraisal work, making appraisal requests, and topics reporting on experience in investigating and verifying various types of cases; detention and execution of criminal sentences compiled and introduced by reporters and leading officials of the Supreme People's Procuracy, the People's Police Academy, the Institute of Criminal Science, the Criminal Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) and professional departments of the Criminal Investigation Department.

The training conference will take place until August 8, 2025.
