Chan May - Lang Co chooses industry and tourism as breakthroughs in the new term

Due to the characteristics of the newly merged localities, the assessment content of the past term is general, focusing on development orientation and breakthrough solutions suitable to the characteristics of each locality after the merger.

In line with this requirement, the Vinh Loc Commune Party Committee organized conferences to collect comments on the draft document. The draft political report was developed in the context of the Vinh Loc Commune Party Committee having just been established on the basis of merging 4 communes: Vinh Hung, Vinh My, Giang Hai and Vinh Hien. The requirement is that the political report must truly be the crystallization of the will and aspirations, expressing the vision and development orientation of the entire Party Committee in the new period.

In Phong Quang ward (merged from Phong Hai ward, Quang Cong commune and Quang Ngan commune), to ensure the quality of political reports, the ward party committee organized many conferences to collect comments on the draft documents to be submitted to the 1st term Party Congress of the ward. The comments helped the draft to specify the criteria, tasks and key solutions, in which the most prominent is the orientation to improve the planning of tourism, marine and lagoon services, associated with ecological protection and sustainable environment; creating regional linkages in infrastructure construction, associated with coastal and lagoon urban development.

Chan May - Lang Co is a commune located in the South, bordering Da Nang, formed on the basis of merging Lang Co town and Loc Vinh, Loc Thuy and Loc Tien communes. With its available potential and advantages, the goal that Chan May - Lang Co commune aims for is to develop a comprehensive, multi-sector, multi-field economy ; in which the breakthrough focus is to develop industry associated with seaports, becoming one of the major service - tourism centers.

Mr. Luu Duc Hoan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Chan May - Lang Co commune, said: The draft document is built in an innovative, concise and succinct direction, demonstrating the strong aspiration of the locality to rise up. Based on practice and consultation opinions, the political report proposes 3 breakthroughs: Building a streamlined and effective political system, innovating ways to serve the people; strongly applying science and technology, promoting comprehensive digital transformation; developing tourism and services associated with environmental protection. Along with that are 4 key solutions: Mobilizing and effectively using investment resources; improving the quality of human resources; developing synchronous infrastructure; maintaining national defense and security, ensuring social order and safety.

According to Mr. Phan Xuan Toan, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee, the political report at the congresses of commune and ward party committees is a central document, which plays a role in guiding all activities in the new term. The document needs to objectively and comprehensively assess the results of the previous term; fully absorb the viewpoints and orientations from the draft documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party and higher levels; forecast the situation, propose feasible and breakthrough goals and solutions, associated with a long-term vision.

Another important content is that the Party Committee's review report needs to demonstrate a spirit of self-criticism and strong criticism, correctly assessing the current state of leadership and direction for the 2020-2025 term, associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. At the same time, clearly state the subjective and objective causes of the limitations, identify specific responsibilities; thereby, propose a roadmap for effective overcoming in the coming term, ensuring combativeness, setting an example and building a clean and strong Party internally.
