The Phan Thiet Tax Department organizes the implementation of achieving and exceeding the state budget revenue estimates in the area according to the budget revenue estimates assigned by the Provincial People's Committee and the City People's Council. Strengthening the management of taxpayers in the area to put them into tax management in a timely and correct manner; regularly coordinating, reviewing and comparing to unify taxpayer data with business licensing agencies. Effectively deploying anti-revenue loss topics by industry and field in accordance with the characteristics of each locality, proactively advising the City Steering Committee on solutions to implement anti-revenue loss topics... At the same time, review, classify and report a specific list of tax arrears and debt collection measures to ensure timely and correct collection to the state budget.

The People's Committees of wards and communes coordinate with the Phan Thiet Tax Department to effectively implement the topics of preventing tax losses in the area; coordinate the investigation and survey of the revenue of tax-paying business households, ensuring compliance with reality and fairness among business households. Along with that, promote propaganda to raise awareness of tax obligations among people, business households and enterprises.

According to the City People's Committee, the total city budget revenue in the first 10 months of 2023 is estimated at over VND 1,080.5 billion, reaching 72.5%, equal to 71.7% over the same period. Phan Thiet Tax Department promotes budget collection, striving to collect VND 100 billion or more in November. At the same time, carry out tasks according to the plan and make up for revenue shortfalls due to the implementation of tax exemption, reduction and extension policies. Along with that, strengthen the implementation of debt review, debt classification, accurate synthesis of tax arrears, analysis of debt causes of each tax debtor to have effective debt collection solutions and promote inspection to prevent tax losses.
