According to the report of the People's Committees of districts and cities, the damage situation from September 6 to now has been 5 dead, 6 injured, 72 houses collapsed, completely damaged; 111 houses severely and very severely damaged; 20,474 houses flooded, damage less than 30%; 5,106 households have been evacuated to safe places; 39 schools affected; 2 commune health stations affected; 5,182.6 hectares of rice; 2,890 hectares of corn, vegetables; 1,352.7 hectares of fruit trees and annual crops affected, damaged; 908.6 hectares of forestry trees affected; 1,665 cattle and 20,072 poultry died; 660 hectares of fish ponds were flooded, overflowed; 466 aquaculture cages were swept away.

The floods also caused landslides and damage to 37 pumping stations, dams, reservoirs, and embankments; 4 dike and embankment incidents; 12 clean water works; many national highways and local roads were flooded, blocked, collapsed, and damaged; 13 inter-village bridges were damaged; many electric poles and fiber optic cables were broken and collapsed; many agency headquarters and schools were flooded, affected, and caused many other damages. The estimated damage was about 1,351 billion VND.
Immediately after the storm and flood occurred, the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee strongly directed departments, branches, sectors, and People's Committees of districts and cities to focus on responding to and overcoming the consequences caused by storm No. 3.

Discussing at the conference, leaders of departments, branches, districts and cities discussed solutions to overcome the consequences of rain and floods. The focus was on overcoming the problems of dykes in Son Duong district; building resettlement sites for households moving out of dangerous areas in Linh Phu and Yen Lap communes (Chiem Hoa); overcoming the problem of the dam breaking of Cho Don district ( Bac Kan ) discharging waste into the environment in Binh Phu, Phu Binh and Yen Lap communes (Chiem Hoa); overcoming and supporting people with flooded fruit trees in Yen Son district; reviewing the flood discharge operation process of Tuyen Quang hydropower plant; plans to build bridges in Luc Hanh and Tien Bo communes (Yen Son)...
