Focus on shortening the time to resolve electricity services

Achieving 10/11 targets, EVNHCMC Party Committee currently has 24 party cells with 1,424 party members. In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee set out 11 targets for Party building.

Reporting at the conference, comrade Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of EVNHCMC, said that up to now, 10/11 targets have been achieved according to the roadmap. Right from the beginning of the term, the Party building work continued to be focused on and implemented resolutely, implementing many solutions synchronously and achieving good results; political and ideological education work associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style was focused on and had many positive changes. The organization of research, study and dissemination of the Party's Resolutions at the EVNHCMC Party Committee was carried out seriously and effectively. All aspects of propaganda, organization, inspection, mass mobilization and office work were evaluated as excellent by the departments and the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and received certificates of merit from the City Party Committee departments and certificates of merit from the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.

The inspection and supervision work was carried out seriously, ensuring compliance with procedures. During the half-term, the Standing Committee of the EVNHCMC Party Committee conducted thematic supervision of 8 party organizations and 8 party members; inspected the compliance of 8 party organizations and 8 party members ^. The EVNHCMC Party Committee's Inspection Committee also inspected 3 party organizations and 4 party members when there were signs of violations; inspected the implementation of inspection and supervision tasks of 6 grassroots party committees; and conducted thematic supervision of 9 party organizations and 9 party members.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Inspection Committee awarded the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee's recognition of meeting the "Safety in security and order" standards in 2022 to Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation.

Regarding production and business tasks, EVNHCMC has ensured a stable, continuous and safe electricity supply, fully meeting the electricity demand in the area, actively contributing to the recovery and economic development of the city after the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Corporation has basically completed all production - business - investment and construction targets according to the plan assigned by Vietnam Electricity Group every year. The quality of customer service has achieved many positive results. In particular, 100% of services for customers are performed in a digital environment, through a multi-channel call center between customers and electricity. EVNHCMC has also completed a system of measuring, collecting and analyzing electricity usage through smart meters by replacing approximately 100% of electronic meters with remote measurement function, helping customers through the Customer Service App to monitor electricity quality and daily electricity consumption. The Corporation also focuses on improving the quality of human resources, and has so far trained and recognized 23 experts, 56 skilled workers, and 108 ASEAN engineers. Supervision to prevent corruption Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Inspection Committee Duong Ngoc Hai highly appreciated the activities of EVNHCMC in the past time, and at the same time suggested many contents for the EVNHCMC Party Committee to implement.

In particular, comrade Duong Ngoc Hai requested the EVNHCMC Party Committee to continue reviewing, evaluating, and supplementing indicators to suit the practical situation of the Party Committee during the term, especially reviewing, evaluating, and supplementing indicators to suit the practical situation and finding solutions to resolutely implement. Regarding Party building work, he noted that the EVNHCMC Party Committee should focus on streamlining the organization and apparatus of the enterprise in a streamlined, effective and efficient manner; strengthen supervision to prevent and combat corruption and negativity, detect errors early for timely correction. At the same time, pay attention to the government's mass mobilization work, demonstrate corporate culture, and create a scientific , friendly and effective working environment.

Continue to lead and direct the concretization of solutions to promote administrative reform and improve the investment environment, promote economic development, ensure social security in the city in association with the political tasks of the unit, ensure good implementation of the targets set out in the Resolution. In particular, focus on leading the implementation of digital transformation, applying new technologies, applying information technology to all activities of the Corporation.

Collectives were commended for their outstanding achievements in studying and following Uncle Ho.

At the same time, continue to improve and enhance the quality of customer service, promote online service provision and payment, shorten the time to resolve electricity services to improve service quality for people and businesses, and ensure the progress of undergrounding works.

On this occasion, Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation was recognized by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee as meeting the "Safety in security and order" standards in 2022 and received a Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Public Security for its outstanding achievements in the movement to protect national security in 2022.

At the conference, the Party Committee of the Corporation also commended 28 collectives and 28 individuals with outstanding achievements in studying and following Uncle Ho.
