Tay Ninh: Accelerating the implementation of urban beautification projects

To achieve the goal of building a modern, synchronous urban area to meet the needs of socio-economic development, Tay Ninh province has been focusing on implementing many large-scale urban beautification projects.

Tay Ninh province has been focusing on implementing many urban beautification projects and works.

According to the Department of Construction, the project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 784C (section from Bau Nang to Bau Cop) is currently under construction with a total investment of more than 221.2 billion VND, with implementation time from 2024 to 2027. The project has a starting point at the intersection with DT781 (Bau Nang intersection), and an end point at the intersection with DT784 (Bau Cop intersection), with a length of more than 3km.

The construction package started on December 25, 2024 and is expected to be completed on September 26, 2026.

The locality has now completed the compensation and site clearance plan, prepared to organize the Compensation Council, provide resettlement support and publicize the plan according to regulations. In the immediate future, the government is actively mobilizing affected people to hand over the site to promptly implement construction of some sections.

Another key project is the project to renovate Cach Mang Thang Tam Street (from Quan Bridge to Dien Bien Phu Street), with a total investment of more than 391.4 billion VND, implemented in the period 2023-2026. The route is 4.6 km long, with a cross-section of 27 m wide, including an 18 m road surface and 4.5 m wide sidewalks on both sides. The project officially started construction and installation on March 31, 2025, and is expected to be completed on March 31, 2026.

In addition, the 3/2 Road project (section from Cach Mang Thang Tam Street to Boi Loi Street) is also being implemented with a total investment of 1,000 billion VND, implementation period from 2025 to 2028. The project is about 3.5km long, passing through Tan Ninh Ward and Binh Minh Ward.

Currently, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board is appraising the results of selecting a consulting contractor to conduct a survey, prepare a feasibility study report, and is expected to sign a consulting contract in the near future.

In addition, the province is also implementing a project to upgrade and expand Boi Loi Street with two sections. The first section from Lam Vo intersection to Dai Dong intersection is 5.1km long, located in Binh Minh ward, with a total investment of more than 433.7 billion VND, to be implemented in the period 2024-2027. Currently, the project has been appraised and approved for the selection of a consulting contractor to implement the next steps.

The project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 784C (section from Bau Nang to Bau Cop) is under construction with a total investment of more than 221.2 billion VND.

The second section from Dai Dong intersection to the gate of Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area is about 2.5km long, with a total investment of more than 727.1 billion VND, to be implemented in the period 2025-2028. The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board is submitting additional capital to prepare the project and organize the preparation, appraisal and approval of the budget to implement it on schedule.

Speeding up the progress of urban beautification projects not only contributes to perfecting traffic infrastructure, creating a spacious and modern appearance for Tay Ninh urban area, but also creates an important premise to attract investment, develop tourism and improve the quality of life of local people./.
