The daughter-in-law burst into tears when she opened the basket of eggs her mother-in-law sent.

Every year, when I go back to my hometown to celebrate Tet, I give my parents-in-law a few gifts along with 2.3 thousand NDT (equivalent to 6.7 - 10 million VND) to celebrate Tet because my family lives in the city and doesn't have time to go back to the hometown. Because of this, I always feel guilty.

This year, my husband and I have just saved all our money to buy a house, and my husband's business is not going well, so our finances are a bit difficult. So this year we cannot give our parents as much as usual.
My mother-in-law seemed to have guessed what was going on. Before returning to the city, she gave me a basket of eggs. She also advised my husband and I not to overwork ourselves and to eat some of these eggs to nourish our bodies.

We couldn't give our parents anything, but when we returned, she packed big and small bags for us to take to the city.
Our parents only want the best for us. But in this difficult time, we rely on them, making our elderly parents suffer. The amount of money my husband and I give them each year is not much.
But deep down I think this year I can't give it to my parents like every year, it's really embarrassing.
On the way home, my husband and I talked to each other, we need to try to work harder to be able to provide for our parents.
When I got home, I put the eggs my mother gave me in the fridge and discovered a truth that moved me to tears.
When I put all the eggs in the refrigerator, I found a small bag at the bottom of the wind. When I opened the bag, there was cash inside, about 3.4 million yuan (equivalent to 10 - 13.5 million VND).
Why did Mom forget the money here? I thought to myself. Having said that, I was about to call Mom when I saw the note in the basket. After reading it, I was deeply moved.
On the paper it was written that this was the money my husband's parents gave us, the money we gave her, and part of her savings.
She knew we were in dire straits, so she gave us this money to help us temporarily with urgent needs.
I thought about how we could have given her such a large sum of money. We felt extremely guilty, but knew we would be more filial to our parents in the future.
