A representative of the People's Committee of Duc Lieu Commune said that the illegal hunting, trading, and transportation of endangered, precious, and rare wild animals still occurs in many places. Therefore, the work of Ma Doan Nhat Thien is very commendable, aiming to raise awareness of everyone to join hands to protect wild animals.

Pangolins, also known as "trut" or "xuyen son giap", are mammals of the order Pangolin. They have hard scales that protect their bodies, sticky tongues, and can shoot up to 40 cm long to eat ants or termites. When threatened, pangolins can curl up into a ball. Both the yellow pangolin and the Javan pangolin are protected at the highest level by Vietnamese law.
