Thanh Hoa continues to support 50 billion VND for northern provinces to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

The Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Office has just issued Official Dispatch No. 5528-CV/VPTU, dated October 8, 2024, announcing the Conclusion of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on visiting and supporting people in districts affected by floods and transferring funds to support people to overcome damages caused by storm No. 3 to the Central Relief Fund through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee received 5 billion VND from Quang Xuong district to support people affected by storm No. 3.

Accordingly, the policy of using the amount of 417 million 950 thousand VND from the mobilized funds to support people to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3, received and managed by the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, to visit and support food and living expenses for households and students facing difficulties due to the impact of storms and floods in the districts of Muong Lat, Quan Son, Quan Hoa, Ba Thuoc, Cam Thuy, Thuong Xuan, Thach Thanh, Lang Chanh.

At the same time, transfer the amount of 50 billion VND from the above-mentioned mobilized and supported sources to the Central Relief Fund through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, at the request of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Official Dispatch No. 204/MTTQ-BTT, dated October 2, 2024.

With 2 billion VND in support (phase 2) through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Nghi Son town has now supported people affected by storm No. 3 with 7.5 billion VND.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee directed the Provincial Mobilization Committee to carry out the following tasks to support households and students facing difficulties due to the impact of storms, floods and transfer the funds from the above-mentioned mobilization and support sources to the Central Relief Fund to ensure timeliness, publicity, transparency, and compliance with current regulations of law.

The Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee is assigned to direct the continued review and complete and accurate statistics of households, students and other subjects facing difficulties due to the impact of storms and floods in the province; coordinate with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to promptly support the above subjects to soon stabilize their lives, production and study.
