Establishment of An Giang Newspaper and Radio-Television, appointment of Editor-in-Chief

An Giang Newspaper and Radio-Television was established on the basis of merging An Giang Newspaper, An Giang Radio and Television Station, and Provincial Party Committee Electronic Information Portal.

On the afternoon of June 26, at the 20th Conference of the An Giang Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee announced and presented the Decisions on the establishment of An Giang Newspaper and Radio-Television; leadership personnel of An Giang Newspaper and Radio-Television; and also presented the Decision on the transfer of cadres under the management of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Party Standing Committee handed over the decision to establish An Giang Newspaper and Radio-Television on the basis of merging An Giang Newspaper, An Giang Radio and Television Station, and the Provincial Party Committee's Electronic Information Portal; at the same time, handed over the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Xuan Bang, Director of An Giang Radio and Television Station, to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of An Giang Newspaper and Radio-Television Station, from June 24, 2025.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee has issued decisions appointing Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tin and Pham Thanh Mieng (previously Deputy Editor-in-Chief of An Giang Newspaper); Mr. Nguyen Cong Tinh, Ngo Ngoc Chuan and Ms. Tran Thi Hong Hanh (previously Deputy Director of An Giang Radio and Television Station) to hold the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of An Giang Newspaper and Radio-Television Station, from June 24, 2025.

At the conference, the Provincial Party Standing Committee organized the awarding of decisions to cadres under the management of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

Accordingly, mobilize and appoint Ms. Dang Thi Hoa Ray, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee, hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of An Chau commune (term 2025-2030) and introduce to appoint to hold the position of Chairwoman of the People's Council of An Chau commune (term 2021-2026), from July 1, 2025.

Mobilize and appoint Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Diem, Director of the Provincial Department of Education and Training, to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Duc Ward (term 2025-2030) and introduce her to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Duc Ward (term 2021-2026), from July 1, 2025.

Mobilize and appoint Mr. Le Phuoc Dung, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Hoa commune (term 2025-2030) and introduce him to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Hoa commune (term 2021-2026), from July 1, 2025.

Mobilize and appoint Ms. Phan Thi Diem, President of the Provincial Women's Union, to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Long Kien commune (term 2025-2030) and introduce her to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Long Kien commune (term 2021-2026), from July 1, 2025.

Mobilize and appoint Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Tan Chau Ward Party Committee (term 2025-2030) and introduce the appointment to hold the position of Chairman of the Tan Chau Ward People's Council (term 2021-2026), from July 1, 2025.

Mobilize and appoint Mr. Vo Minh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of My Hoa Hung commune (term 2025-2030) and introduce the appointment to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council of My Hoa Hung commune (term 2021-2026), from July 1, 2025...

At the ceremony, the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee announced and presented the Decision of the Secretariat deciding to let Mr. Le Van Nung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council retire early from June 1, 2025.

The Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee also granted decisions to 16 cadres under the management of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to retire early according to their wishes to enjoy policies and regimes according to the provisions of Decree 178/2024/ND-CP./.
